使用合有机溶剂的展开剂,能用磷鎢酸铵纸以上行法分离鋰、纳、钾、铷、銫。经比较甲醇、乙醇、正丙醇、(己廾)丙酵、丙酮对比移值的影响,找出甲醇是最合适的溶剂。当展开剂组成为硝酸铵,0.4M;硝酸,0.1M;甲醇对水的比率为1:1到5:1时,五种碱金属离子都能一步分离。在20℃,展开时间仅需三小时。甲醇:水=4:1时的比移值分别为Li,0.70;Na,0.55;K,0.35;Rb,0.18;Cs,0.03。

Using an organic solvent together with ammonium nitrate solution and nitric acid as the mobile phase,it has been succeeded in separating the alkali metal ions from each other on the ammonium tungstophosphate papers by the ascending technique.The influences of the methanol,ethanol,n-propanol,iso-propanol,and acetone on the RF values have been investigated.Methanol was found to be the most suitable solvent.It took only three hours for the development when the temperature was kept at 20℃.For various ratios of methanol to water(1:1 to 5:1),complete separation was obtained when the concentration of ammonium nitrate and of nitric acid was kept at 0.4 M and 0.1 M respectively.The RF values were Li,0.70; Na,0.55;K,0.35;Rb,0.18; and Cs,0.03,when methanol to water was in the ratio of 4 to 1.
