Fe3(CO)8[P(SPh)3](m3-S)2 was prepared by the substitution of Fe3(CO)9(m3-S)2 with P(SPh)3 and was characterized by elemental anal., IR, 1H NMR, and mass spectra. The single crystal x-ray structure was determine Crystal data: orthorhombic, space group Pbca, a 2046(1), b 3158(1), c 1004.5(1) pm, Z = 8, R = 0.051, Rw = 0.058.
