Preparation of P(AA-MMA-ST)/Fe3O4 Magnetic Composite Microspheres by Controlled Radical Polymerization (DPE Method)

Submicron P(AA-MMA-ST)/Fe3O4 composite microspheres were prepared by DPE method. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were conducted to characterize the magnetite particles and P(AA-MMA-ST)/Fe3O4 composite microspheres. The average size of the composite microspheres is 265 nm and the magnetite content of the composite microspheres is around 20%.
