Synthesis and Reaction Mechanism of Phthalocyanines in Mild Route

In this paper, we succeeded in synthesising phthalocyanines using a new intermediates under a mild reaction condition. The samples were characterized by IR, UV, 1H NMR and LC/MS techniques, and the results showed that the molecular structures of the samples were consistent with our expectations. The reaction mechanism has been investigated and the results show that the reaction can occur under appropriate temperature with the presence of solvent. Phthalocyanine can be synthesized at low temperature with the utilization of method proposed in this manuscript. The procedure has been simplified and the synthetic efficiency has been improved. The foundation for application of phthalocyanine has been laid by this method.
