One-pot domino Henry-Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction in deep eutectic solvent

在氯化锌和氯化胆碱组成的深共融溶剂中,以芳香醛、硝基甲烷和N-取代苯胺为原料,建立了一种绿色的亨利-傅克烷基化串联反应方法;在该方法中,醛先与硝基甲烷发生Henry反应,其产物再与富电子芳烃进行Friedel-Crafts烷基化反应。该一锅法串联反应不需要额外添加催化剂,在温和条件下就能以较高产率快速地合成一系列目标产物。据本课题组所知,这也是在深共融溶剂中进行该类反应研究的首次报道。

A green multicomponent reaction of aldehydes, nitromethane and N-substituted anilines in deep eutectic solvent (DES) has been developed. In this reaction, aldehydes, nitromethane undergo Henry reaction, followed by a Friedel-Crafts alkylation reaction with electron-rich arenes. The desired products are formed quickly in excellent yields under mild conditions without the need for any additional catalysts. Happily, the deep eutectic solvent (zinc chloride and choline chloride) is a cheap and recyclable solvent making the protocol more efficient, facile, and cost effective. Moreover, this multi-component synthesis strategy is reported for the first time.
