Recent Progress of Sulfoxide and N-Sulfinyl Ligands in Asymmetric Catalysis

Chiral ligands based on sulfoxide and N-sulfinyl compounds in asymmetric reaction have recently become an increasingly active research area, in which benzene-backboned or linear sulfoxides and their derivatives as ligands have been successively applied in asymmetric reaction. In this review, the recent progress of the chiral ligands containing sulfoxide and N-sulfinyl moieties in the asymmetric reactions is mainly reviewed.
