The application of HSAB theory in materials science I: The study of superconductivity of β-W structure binary compounds

The HSAB (hard-soft acid-base) theory is extensively applied to the supercond. of b-W structure binary (alloys) compounds by using the bond-parameter method. By using the HS scale of HSAB, the authors obtained a rule for the predicted Tc value of compounds The DHS rule can be used as a guide to search for new superconducting material.
