A novel label-free amperometric immunosensor for the determination of myeloperoxidase (MPO) based on poly-o-phenylenediamine (PoPD)-multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)-ionic liquid/ gold nanoparticles (nanogold) modified gold electrode (Au) was constructed. Firstly, a PoPD/MWNTs composite modified Au electrode was prepared in situ electropolymerization using ionic liquid as the supporting electrolyte. Then gold nanoparticles were adsorbed onto the electrode surface through amino-groups on the composite membrane for immobilization of MPO antibody via amine-Au affinity. The modification process was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The factors possibly influenced the performance of the proposed immunosensor were studied in detail. Under optimal conditions, the obtained immunosensor exhibited good electrochemical behavior to MPO in a linear range of 0.25 to 350 ng/mL (r＝0.9985), with a detection limit of 0.07 ng/mL. The immunosensor has advantages of good stability, regeneration, high sensitivity and specificity. Thus, the method can be used for clinical application of MPO analysis.

Under the imitated physiological condition of animal body, the binding of paraquat to bovine serum albumin (BSA) was studied by fluorescence spectrum and ultra-violet spectrum. It was shown that this compound has a quite strong ability to quench the fluorescence launching from BSA. After analyzing the fluorescence quenching data according to Stern-Volmer equation and Lineweaver-Burk double-reciprocal equation, we found that BSA had reacted with paraquat and formed a certain new compound. The quenching belonged to static fluorescence quenching, with non-radiation energy transfer happening within single molecule. The binding locality was an area 2.07 nm away from tryptophan residue-212 in BSA based on F?rster’s non-radiation energy transfer mechanism. According to Lineweaver-Burk equation, K_LB (297 K: 2.035×10⁴ L•mol^－1; 304 K: 3.256×10⁴ L•mo^－1; 311 K: 2.889×10⁴ L•mol^－1), the forming constants of the compound at different temperatures and the thermodynamic parameters (⊿H^Ø＝18.50 kJ•mol^－1; ⊿S^Ø＝144.7 J•K^－1/145.2 J•K^－1/141.0 J•K^－1; ⊿G^Ø＝－24.50 kJ•mol^－1/－25.66 kJ•mol^－1/－25.36 kJ•mol^－1) at correspondence temperatures were obtained. The latter shows that binding power between them is mainly the hydrophobic interaction. The effect of paraquat on the conformation of BSA was analyzed by three-dimensional fluorescence spectra, contour spectra and synchronous spectra, and some useful information was offered for preventing animals from infecting paraquat and curing those who had caught it.

In this work, the colorimetric detection assay of mercury has been proposed based on silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) aggregation. In basic medium with 1.75 mmol/L NaOH, the stable and monodisperse silver nanoparticles, which coated by polydopamine, was prepared by a one-pot reduction process using dopamine as a reducing agent. The polydopamine adsorption with Hg²⁺ can induce the aggregation of silver nanoparticles resulting in the decrease of absorption signal of AgNPs at 405 nm and the color change of the solutions. It was found that the decreased absorption signal intensity was proportional to the mercury content in a range of 0.5～5.0 μmol/L. According to this, the ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrum method and colorimetric method for determination of Hg²⁺ was developed. The limit of detection is 50 nmol/L. In this work, UV-vis absorption spectrum, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and infrared (IR) spectrum were investigated. The mechanism of this reaction was discussed. The IR spectrum of special functional groups approved that polydopamine was formed on the surface of AgNPs. The UV-Vis absorption peak at 405 nm and SEM photos indicated that the stable and monodisperse AgNPs was prepared and the aggregation of AgNPs was occurred after the addition of Hg²⁺. The tolerance of coexisting foreign substances in system was also studied and the experimental results indicated that the interferences of other common metal ions were small. The experimental condition optimization results show that when the NaOH concentration is 1.75 mmol/L and dopamine concentration is 40 μmol/L, the system has a good response for Hg²⁺. The proposed method was successfully used to detection of Hg²⁺ in tap water with a recovery range of 93.0% to 105.5% and RSD≤4.4%. This method show some advantages including low-cost, rapidity, simplicity and selectivity. Moreover, it can achieve a visual sensing of Hg²⁺.

The mechanism of interaction between 2,3-dihydro-4',5,7-trihydroxyflavone (naringenin, NAR) and human serum albumin (HSA) has been investigated by UV absorption, fluorescence and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic methods. The UV absorption spectra revealed that the hydroxyl group at 7 position was partially dissociated at physiological pH (7.4) to cause significant red shift of UV absorption band originated from the conjugated system between the ring A and the carbonyl group of ring B. Further red shift of this band after interaction of NAR with human serum albumin signified that the conjugated system participated in the interaction. There was only one binding site (probably site I) in the drug to protein molar ratios ranging from 0.1 to 10, and the binding affinity was 1.27×10⁵ L•mol^－1 (n＝5, RSD＜5%). The effects of pH on the protein fluorescence quenching after interaction with NAR were studied to find that the active functional group in neutral state played key role in the binding process. The alterations of protein secondary structure before and after interaction with NAR were determined both in H₂O and D₂O buffer solutions. The percentage of protein α-helix structure was decreased with the increase of drug concentration, and that of β-sheet and β-turn structure increased. The content of random coil was also slightly increased in higher drug concentration. Combining the results of UV absorption, fluorescence and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic methods, the binding mode of NAR with HSA was discussed.

The quantum chemical calculation of density functional theory (DFT) has been performed to investigate the electronic structure and properties of seven derivatives of 1-substituted-2-aminobenzimidazole. The structural parameters and physical properties including vertical ionization potential, vertical electron affinity, chemical hardness, chemical softness, chemical potential, electronegativity, electronphilicity, partition coefficient, refractivity, polarizability, molecular volume and surface area are obtained. The calculations show that the substituted groups in 2-aminobenzimidazole molecules have significant effects on the charge populations and structural properties of the derivatives. On the basis of quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) analysis, the values of biological toxicity LD₅₀ for the compounds are well correlated with the polarizability. The results present important information for the experimental investigations on the oxidation metabolism and toxic mechanism of 1-substituted-2-aminobenzimidazole derivatives.

Arteannuin (1),a new sesquiterpene containing a peroxide group, has been isolated from Artemisia annua L. It crystallizes in colorless needle. The high resolution mass spectrum indicated the moleculer formula, C₁₅H₂₂O₅.

On the 5% Pd/C-FeCl₃ catalyst, octa(aminophenyl)silsesquioxane (OAPS) was prepared in tetrahydrofuran (THF) using hydrazine hydrate as reductant from octa(nitrophenyl)silsesquioxane (ONPS) in 1 h. Compared with the synthesis methods in the references, this synthetic process was simple and stable, with shortened reaction period, increased yield and promoted catalytic efficiency. The product was characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR and gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and it was found that nitro groups were completely converted to amino groups. An intermediate with N,N-dihydroxyaminophenyl groups and hydroxylaminophenyl groups was obtained when the only 5% Pd/C was used as catalyst. The synthesis mechanism of OAPS from ONPS was studied based on the intermediate compound. In nitro groups reduction, N,N-dihydroxyaminophenyl groups were firstly formed through two-electron transfer, then hydroxylaminophenyl groups were generated through dehydration/hydrogenation and finally aminophenyl groups were produced after further reduction. At the beginning, hydrazine hydrate was mainly oxidated to N₂ and H₂, but its oxidative products changed to N₂ and NH₃ when all of the ONPS were completely converted to OAPS.

The mechanism of the interaction between mercaptopurine (MP) metal (Me) complexes and calf thymus (CT) DNA has been studied by using ethidium bromide (EB) as a fluorescence probe. The results from varied experiments such as ultraviolet and fluorescence spectra, fluorescence quenching curve and Scatchard equation and circular dichroism, etc., confirm that intercalation and electrostatic binding are the two major modes for interaction between MP-Me complexs and CT DNA. The absence of the intercalation binding between the MP and CT DNA has been proved. The binding constant of MP-Me complexs with CT DNA has been determined.

Thirty novel benzoxazolinone/benzothiazolone derivatives (6) containing oxadiazole moiety were synthesized by 2-aminophenol or 2-minothiophenol and urea as starting materials via a series of reactions. The structures of new intermediate 4 and the target compounds 6 were characterized by IR, ¹H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The synthesized target compounds were screened for the anticancer, antiinflammatory and immunoregulatory activities. The results indicated that some compounds exhibited weak activities in the anticancer and immunoregulatory fields, while all of them were found to be inactive against TNF-α and Cdc25B phosphatase.

The rare earth complexes used in photoluminescence and electroluminescence in resent years were reviewed. The relationship between the structure and the property was discussed. The results show that different rare earth ions, the first ligands and the second ligands can all affect the photoluminescence and electroluminescence of the complexes.

A series of sulfonated fluorine containing polybenzimidazoles (sPBI) with controlled sulfonation degree (SD) were synthesized from 3,3'-diaminobenzidine, 5-sulfoisophthalic acid monosodium salt and 2,2-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane by solution copolycondensation in poly(phosphoric acid). The resulting polymers were characterized mainly by means of FT-IR, ¹H NMR, GPC and TGA. The number-average molecular weights of the obtained samples are 61300～86000, and the polydispersity indices are 1.96～2.34. The sPBI samples present good film processing properties and excellent thermal stabilities. The temperatures of 5% and 10% weight loss increase with increasing SD of the samples, and are equal to 549 and 576 ℃ respectively for sample I_e (SD, 70%). This kind of sPBI is promising for application to proton exchange membrane.

A solvothermal method has successfully applied to prepare hexagonal boron carbonitride from CH₃CN, NaN₃ and NaBF₄ in benzene at 400 ℃. The synthesized product was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), select area electron diffraction (SAED), X-ray energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). XRD and SAED indicated that the synthesized product are h-BCN with the lattice constants of a＝0.2678 nm and c＝0.6639 nm. TEM images reveal that the products mainly consist of nanorods and quartet prism-like nanostructure. The results of EELS and EDS suggested that the product was composed of elements of B, C and N, and the chemical formula was B_0.23C_0.60N_0.17. FTIR exhibited that the product had C—N, B—C and B—N bonds, indicating that an atomic-level hybrid of the three elements was synthesized.

Salicylate-pillared hydrotalcites of the type of Zn-0.64Al-0.37 (OH) -2[o-HO(C-6H-4)COO]-0.37 have been successfully assembled by ion exchange of a Zn-0.64Al-0.36(OH)-2(CO-3)0.18 precursor in an organic solvent. The samples thereby obtained were characterized by XRD, FT-IR and TG-DTA. The results show that the original interlayer carbonate ions of the hydrotalcite precursor can be completely replaced by salicylate anions under controlled conditions . The interaction of the host layers and the guests , as well as the arrangement and orientation of the guests between the layers were investigated . The salicylate-pillared hydrotalcites have good thermal stability and can block UV radiation over a wider range

Silver doped hydroxyapatite (HA) antimicrobial powders were synthesized by hydrothermal method using Ca(NO₃)₂?4H₂O, AgNO₃, (NH₄)₂HPO₄ as raw materials. The effects of addition of AgNO₃, reactive temperature and time on the microstructure and constituent of Ag-HA were investigated. The XRD patterns indicate that HA and Ag-HA have the same crystal structure. The calculation results of energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and X-ray fluorescence spectrum (XRF) indicate that Ca²⁺ in HA crystals is displaced by Ag⁺ and Ag_xCa_10－x(PO₄)₆(OH)₂ was produced at hydrothermal condition. The antibacterial test results indicate that Ag-HA have favourable antibiotic property and MIC≤50 μg/mL against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

Hydrophobic Ag-Su nanoparticles are produced in AOT [Aeroslo OT, sodium bis (2-ethyhexyl) sulfosuccinate]-cyclohexane reverse micellar system. Glucose biosensors have been formed with glucose oxidase (GOD) immobilized in composite immobilization membrane matrix, which is composed of hydrophobic Ag-Au particles and polyvinyl butyral (PVB) by a sol-gel method. The experiments show that nanoparticles can significantly enhance the catalytic activity of the immobilized enzyme. The current response is increased from tens of nanoamperometer (nA) to ten thousands of nanoamperometer to the same glucose concentration. The experiment and theory proved the function of nanoparticles in immobilization of enzyme. The catalysis of enzyme improved by nanoparticles was discussed. This research provides experimental and theoretical basis for preparation of useful glucose biosensor.

The solubility of taurine in various 1,3-dialkylimidazolium ionic liquids was approximately determined. The taurine is well soluble in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C₄MIm]Cl) ionic liquid but Na₂SO₄ is not, therefore, the leaching separation of the solid mixture of taurine and sodium sulfate could be actualized by using [C₄MIm]Cl as the leaching reagent. After leaching, the taurine solid can be separated by dispersing the [C₄MIm]Cl ionic liquid solution in ethanol. The separation yield could be up to 98.5% (99.5% purity). The leaching separation process simplified the separation of taurine and sodium sulfate, and the ionic liquid could be reused for several times without a loss of the leaching ability.

The titania modified inner surface of mesoporous silicate MCM-41 was synthesized for the first time by varying titanium precursors and calcined MCM-41. The as-synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, nitrogen adsorption-desorption at 77K and solid state diffuse reflectance UV-vis spectroscopy. XRD suggested that a long-range order was still present in the hexagonal phase of the titania modified MCM-41 and were free of crystalline TiO~2. titania cocondensed with the pendant OH groups of MCM-41 via SI－O－Ti bonds and thus modified the inner walls. The titania in the modified MCM- 41 existed as a monolayer on the inner walls according to the results of nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherms. In solid state UV-vis spectra, the titania modified MCM-41 had significant blue shift compared to bulk TiO~2 due to the well known quantum size effect. The photocatalytic properties of the titania modified MCM-41 were tested in the decomposition of phenol.

In contrast to cyanomethylene triphenylphosphorane, the corresponding arsorane could react with a series of ketones giving the α,β-unsaturated nitrite in fair to good yields. The products and their yields are shown in Table 1. This result shows again that the arsonium glide is more reactive than the corresponding phosphonium glide. It is worthwhile to point out that this glide also could be obtained from the arsonium salt on treating with the weak base piperidine, and reacted with a-tetralone in situ under the mild conditions. The pure egocyclic olefinic product was obtained in 33% yield. When this glide reacted with 4-cholesten-3-one, the yield of the olefinio products was 87%.Their configurations were ascertained by ¹H NMR spectra. Therefore in the above two cases, this arsonium glide seems to be superior than Horner-Wittig reagent.

A novel structural descriptor, called molecular electronegativity- distance vector (MEDV), is developed to describe the structure of an organic compound consisting of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulphur and so on. Using tryptophan as an example, which contains element C, H, N and O and a five-membered and a six-membered ring and diverse chemical bonds, a procedure for calculating MEDV of the molecule is illustrated and a computer program written in True BASIC language is devised. the novel MEDV descriptor can be used alone to study the quantitative structure-property relationship (QSPR) of many properties such as boiling point, critical temperature, retention index, and so on for some types of organic compounds including alkanes, alcohols and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

The kinetics of Prussian blue (PB) film itself during the redox process and of the catalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AH2) on it have been studied in detail. The charge transfer diffusion coefficient Dct in PB film is determine as 2.62 ?10-10 cm2.s-1, using potential-step chronoamperometry, chronocoulometry and constant- chronopotentiometry. The rate constant of the cross-exchange reaction between AH2 in solution and the active centers in PB film is measured in rotating disk electrode as 1.23 ?108 cm3.mol-1.s-2. The catalytic reaction occurs only at the outer most part of the PB film and is first order to the bulk concentration of AH2. The overall process can be limited by mass transfer in solution, by cross-exchange reaction at the film-soln. interface, by charge transfer within the film or by some kind of combination of them, with four kinetic subcases experimental observed and analyzed.

In a citrate containing solution, anion of citrate self-assembled on Au nanoparticle surface with positive charge, making Au nanoparticle become a supermolecular compound with negative charge surrounded by citrate. In a weak acid medium of pH 4.4～6.8, the supermolecular compound can combine with kanamycin by the virtue of electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction, forming aggregate with bigger diameters (average diameter increased from 12 to 20 nm ). The aggregate made plasmon absorption band of glod nanoparticle show evident bathochromic effect (Δλ＝102 nm), resonance Rayleigh scattering (RRS) in- tensity be enhanced greatly and the resonance nonlinear scattering such as frequency double scattering (FDS) and second order scattering (SOS) be increased markedly as well. The maximum scattering peaks are at 280 nm for RRS, 310 nm for FDS and 480 nm for SOS respectively. In optimum conditions, there was a linear relationship between scattering intensity ΔI and the concentration of kanamycin, and the highest sensitivity was RRS. So gold nanoparticle could be the RRS probe of high sensitivity for kanamycin with the detection limits of kanamycin being 10.52 ng•mL^－1. The method has good selectivity and has been successfully applied to the detection of kanamycin in clinic serum samples. In addition, the reaction mechanism and the reasons for the enhancement of RRS were discussed.

For determining similarity of chemical fingerprint, similarity measures were presented. A method including three indexes (i.e. elasticity of peak number, homostasis of proportion among peaks and homostasis of peak area) was proposed to evaluate the performance of the measures on different aspects. According to the three proposed indexes, six different measures were evaluated with chemical fingerprints simulated by computer. The results indicated that cosine of the angle is much suitable for assessing the fluctuation of proportion between the peaks. The matching degree of peaks is very sensitive in detecting the variation of number of small peaks. The Euclidean distance has preferable integral measurement capability. The actual chemical fingerprints of Shenmai injection were used to check the correctness of the above conclusion from simulation experiments, and the results showed it accords with reality. It could be concluded that the proposed method could be used for selecting the meausres for determining the similarity of chemical fingerprint.

A method of using partial difference equation to determine carrier waves and energy levels is proposed here. Through solving the boundary value problem of partial difference equation, several energy level formula and carrier wave formula were derived.

Three novel hemicyanine derivatives, (E)-N-(4-sulfopropyl)-4-[2-(4- N, N-diethylaminophenyl)-ethenyl]pyridinium (EPS), (E)-N-(4-suMbbutyl)- 4-[2-(4-N, N-diethylaminophenyl)ethenyl]pyridinium (EPS4), and (E)-N-(4- su)fobutyl)-4-[2-(4-N, N-diethylaminophenyl)ethenyl]quinolinium (EQS4) with different length of alkyl chains between the adsorbing group (RSO3-) and the chromophore group, were synthesized and their photophysical and photoelectrochemical properties were studied. Experimental results show that using either three-methylene group or four-methylene group to link the adsorbing group and the chromophore group has little effect on the photoelectrical response of dye, but this difference has great impact on the adsorbance properties of dye on nanocrystalline electrode. EPS, bearing a chain of three-methylene group, has a greater adsorbed molecule amount on nanocrystalline TiO2 film because of small steric hindrance effect compared with EPS4. So EPS-sensitized solar cell generated a higher overall photon to electric conversion efficiency. Compared with EPS4, the photoelectrical response of dye EQS4 was greatly improved when a stronger electron acceptor was introduced. However, samely due to the steric hindrance effect, the adsorption number of EQS4 on mesoporous TiO2 film (2.99 * 1016 molecules ? cm-2) dropped down drastically compared with that of EPS4 (6.26 * 1016), and at last EQS4-sensitized solar cell generated a lower overall photoelectrical conversion yield compared with EPS4.

Bcl-2 and Bcl-x_L proteins are main members of Bcl-2 protein family, which are new targets of anticancer drugs with bright prospect. These two proteins have similar structure and functions, while differ in many aspects, such as the tumor spectra with high expression of these two proteins, binding selection with other proapoptosis subfamily members, and cell protection function under various apoptosis stimulations. By sequence aligning, structure and surface electrostatic potential comparing of the active sites in Bcl-2 and Bcl-x_L proteins, the dominant differences between them are identified. Then the effect of these differences on substrates binding selection is showed by studies of some substrates for example. The result of this paper provides good basis for understanding molecular mechanism of the function difference between Bcl-2 and Bcl-x_L proteins, and design, synthesis of small molecule inhibitors with good selection.

The nitrogen-doped carbon nanotube (CN_x nanotube) modified glassy carbon elec-trodes were prepared for the study of electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA). The effects of the content of nitrogen in the framework of CN_x nanotubes on the electrochemical behavior of DA and AA at the modified glassy carbon electrodes were investigated in acidic and neutral buffer solutions. The results of cyclic voltammetry indicated that the CN_x nanotube modified electrodes with a high content of nitrogen exhibited higher electrocatalytic activities for the AA, the modified electrodes with a low content of nitrogen, however, showed the favorable electrocatalytic activity for DA. Additionally, the modified electrodes showed a linear response to DA in the concentration range of 5.0×10^－6～2.0×10^－4 mol/L and AA in the concentration range of 3.0×10^－5～1.0×10^－2 mol/L. The detection limit (S/N＝3) is 1.64×10^－6 mol/L for DA and 3.26×10^－6 mol/L for AA, respectively. Such different catalytic behavior for DA and AA allowed the determination of DA in the presence of extremely excess AA (up to 20000 fold).

For the first time calix[4]arene tetraamide bonded stationary phase was prepared by modifying silica gel with 3-mercaptopropyltriethoxysilane and coupling with p-allylcalix[4]arene tetraamide. The separation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, positional isomers of nitroaniline, benzoic esters and phthalic esters on the new calix[4]arene bonded stationary phase was achieved with acetonitrile-water or methanol-water as mobile phase. A comparison with conventional reversed phase C 18 columns shows a predominant reversed phase character and obvious priority for separation of positional isomers. The possible separation mechanism has been investigated.

The synthetic methods of alkaline ionic liquid hydroxide 1-butyl-4-dimethy1 aminopyridine were optimized by using orthogonal experimental. By using triethylene diamine (DABCO) as catalyst and alkaline ionic liquid as solvent, aromatic aldehydes with methyl acrylate’s Baylis-Hillman reaction was studied. Experimental results showed that fast reaction rate and high yield were obtained in the presence of the alkaline ionic liquid. On this basis, Baylis-Hillman reaction under the influence of water-ionic liquid composite system was further studied, and obtained better result.

The heat treatment of Co tetraphenylporphyrin chem. modified glassy C electrode was described. The modified electrode by heat treatment [(PCo/GO)h] shows a considerable catalytic activity and stability for O reduction The catalytic activity is still maintained after 3000 circles of cyclic voltammetric scans (100 meV/s) in O saturated 0.05 mol/L H2SO4. The effects of heat treatment temperature from 500 to 1000?on the preparation and catalytic activity of the modified electrode were studied. Using UV-visible spectroscopy the possible structure of products by heat treatment on electrode surface were analyzed. The electrocatalytic and dynamic behaviors for reduction of O at the electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and by rotating disk electrode resp. The rate constant of O reduction at (PCo/GC)h electrode in 0.05 mol/L H2SO4 was measured. The catalytic reduction of O to H2O2 at the electrode is a 2-electron irreversible process.

Six new 2-alkylthio-5-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives were synthesized from gallic acid by six steps: etherification, esterification, hydrazidation, salt formation, cyclization, and thioetherification. The synthesis of the title compounds catalyzed by indium in aqueous media was easy in process with high yield and environmental-friendliness. The products were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, ¹H NMR and ¹³C NMR spectra. The crystal structure of compound 8a was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. 8a belongs to the monoclinic system with space group C2/c and cell dimensions of a＝1.5730(19) nm, b＝0.5477 nm, c＝4.2244 nm, β＝92.015(6)°, V＝3.6370(2) nm³, Z＝8, D_c＝1.497 g/cm³, ＝0.463 mm^－1, F(000)＝1696, R₁＝0.0783, wR₂＝0.1832. It was found that the title compounds 8 possess good antitumor activity to PC3 and BGC-823 cells in vitro by MTT method. For example, the antiproliferation activity of compound 8e to PC3 cells at the concentration of 5 μmol•L^－1 at 48 h was 55.71% and the antiproliferation activity of compound 8b to BGC-823 cells at the concentration of 5 μmol•L^－1 at 48 h was 66.21%.

1-Amino-1-hydrazino-2,2-dinitroethene (AHDNE) was synthesized by mixing hydrazine hydrate and FOX-7 in water. Single crystals suitable for X-ray measurement were obtained by slow evaporation of the solvent methanol at room temperature, which belong to an orthorhombic system with space group Pnma and cell parameters of a＝0.6283(4) nm, b＝0.7713(5) nm, c＝1.2280(8) nm, α＝β＝γ＝90°, V＝0.5950(7) nm3, Dc＝1.821 g/cm3, μ＝0.171 mm－1, F(000)＝336, Z＝4, R1＝0.0489, and wR2＝0.1456. The theoretical investigation of the title compound as a structural unit was carried out by HF/6-311＋G(d), MP2/6-311＋G(d) and B3LYP/6-311＋G(d) methods, and the atomic charges and natural bond orbital were analyzed.

[Eu_2(bbimp) (CH_3COO) (CH_3CH_2O)_2(CH_3CH_2OH)] (C1O_4)_2(A) and [Nd_2(bbimp) ( CH_3COO)-(CH_3CH_2O)_2(CH_3CH_2OH)](C1O_4)_2(B) were synthesized and characterized. The kinetic studies on the hydrolysis of BDNPP by complexes were carried out by UV-vis methods. The two reactions obey the second-order when the complexes (2.5 * 10~(-5) mol/L ) cleaved BDNPP (2.5 * 10~(-5) mol/L) . The rate constants and the half-time at 25 X. and pH 7.26 for the hydrolysis of BDNPP are 2479 ( mol/L) ~(-1) · min~(-1), 16.1 min in A , and 1678 ( mol/L) ~(- 1) · min~(-1), 23 .8 min in B. They are more reactive than that Eu~(3+) and Nd~(3+) for cleaving BDNPP. Furthermore, A or B is more reactive at 37 ℃ than at 25 ℃ for cleaving BDNPP. The pH-lgK for the two hydrolytic reactions were approximated with a linear equation at 25 ℃ in the pH 6.50 ～ 8.50. The investigation on the interaction of both complexes and CT DNA indicates that the absorbance value and the wavelength number at the maximum peak of GT DNA are reduced and red- shifted while the intensity of fluorescene spectra of EB-DNA is gradually weaken. The two complexes are capable of promoting cleavage of pBR322 DNA at 50℃ and pH 8.0.

The reaction of triphenylarsine with methyl bromoacetate gave carbomethoxymethyl-triphenyl-arsonium bromide in 94% yield which on treating with sodium methoxide gave carbomethoxy-methylene-triphenylarsine.The latter reacted with several aromatic aldehydes, aromatic and alicyclic ketoses giving methyl ester of the corresponding α, β-unsaturated acid in good yield.

Five new fluorinated ter(9,9-diphenylfluorenyl) derivatives were synthesized and characterized. Fluorine atoms were introduced from two methods. One was HF/pyridine diazotization reaction at the 4-position of fluorene ring, and the other was Grignard reaction on the 9-position with Grignard reagent of pentafluorochlorobenzene. The structures of the molecules were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and elemental analysis. The electrochemical, optical and electroluminescent properties were also investigated. The charge transfer ability of electron was enhanced by the introduction of fluoro groups. The series of such molecules is blue-light-emitting both in solution and solid film. The low onset voltage of the devices (ITO/NPB/6f/Alq3/LiF/Al) was about 6 V, and their maximum brightness value was 452 cd•m－2.

Chiral transition metal complexes-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation is one of the most efficient methods for the synthesis of optically active compounds, and has been intensively investigated in the past decades. This review presents a brief overview on the progress in the transition metal-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation since the beginning of this new century from three aspects: (1) chiral ligands and catalysts; (2) new catalytic asymmetric hydrogenations; (3) new methods and new strategies in asymmetric hydrogenations. Chiral monodentate phosphorus ligands have been a renaissance from the beginning of new century, and many efficient chiral monophosphoramidites such as MonoPhos, SiPhos, DpenPhos have been developed. The chiral phosphine ligands with a chirality on the phosphorus atom (P-chirality), such as BenzP*, ZhanPhos, and TriFer, have also been explored. Chiral ligands with a spiro skeleton have been a highlight of design and synthesis of chiral ligands. The chiral spiro ligands such as SDP, SiPhos, SIPHOX, and SpinPHOX are very efficient in asymmetric hydrogenations. The iridium complexes of chiral spiro pyridine-aminophosphine ligands SpiroPAP is the most efficient molecular catalysts up to now with a turnover number (ratio of converted substrate to catalyst) over 4500000 in the hydrogenation of acetophenone. A number of breakthroughs have been made in the researches on new catalytic asymmetric hydrogenations. Highly enantioslective hydrogenations of unprotected enamines, heteroaromatic compounds, and N-H imines have been developed. New methods and strategies including self-assembled, dendrimerized, and ferromagnetic nanomaterials-loaded chiral catalysts with recyclability and reusability, the catalysts with “mixed” chiral ligands have also been successfully applied in the catalytic asymmetric hydrogenations. However, the chiral transition metal complexes catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation still has many challenges and is looking forward to new breakthroughs in the future. In addition to the continuous developments of new chiral ligands and catalysts with high efficiency, high enantioselectivity, and high chemoselectivity, new strategies such as co-operative or relay catalysis are becoming focuses of the asymmetric hydrogenations studies.
