Seventeen new substituted 3-dialkylaminomethyl-thiochromanones have been prepared by means of the Mannich reaction.The majority of those compounds were used for the purpose of the testing chemotherapeutic activity toward Schistosomiasis Japonica in experimantally infected animals.
