一种新型直接甲醇燃料电池阳极添加剂的电化学研究

Electrochemical Study on a New Additive to the Anodic Electrode of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell

Molybdophosphoric acid was introduced into the electro-catalyst for the anode of direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) as an additive.The electrochemical result shows that the additive has obvious promotion effect on the methanol anodic electro-oxidation reaction.Compared with the conventional catalyst, the complex catalyst improved methanol anodic oxidation activity by 46 percent.The reason that it deceases the activation energy for the methanol and its ramification electro-oxidation reaction was estimated to be its special complex Keggin structure.This resulted in changing of the distribution of the states of electrode chemicals, proton micro-channels, charge distribution, and reaction field.
