The compelx of salicylacyl dimethylbiguamide neodymium was synthesized by “template reaction” in anhydrous ethanol. The composition and the structure of the complex were characterized. The anti-diabetes action of the complex on the models of diabetes mice was investigated and its elimination rates to supraoxide anion free radical on lipid was determined by using ESR. The result showed that this complex had a strong effect on both actions. The anti-diabetes action may be related to the anti-oxidation action or protection effect on membrane damnification.
