Study on Metabolites of Aconitine in Rabbit Intestines by Using LC/ESI-MSn

LC/ESI-MSn was used to separate and determine the major metabolites of aconitine in intestines of rabbit. Compared with the control samples, six compounds (M1~M6) were found in small intestine, five compounds (M2~M6) in caecum and two compounds (M3, M4) in feces. On the bases of MSn fragmentation of standard and references, they were deduced as 16-O-demethyl-8-O-deacetylaconitine (M1), 8-O-deacetylaconitine (M2), 16-O-demethylaconitne (M3), aconitine (M4), deoxyaconitine (M5) and indaconitine (M6).
