Abstract:
Thin film of molecularly imprinted sol-gel polymers with specific binding sites for resveratrol and a multi-wall carbon nanotube (MWNT) layer was cast on a carbon electrode by combining electrochemical imprinted deposition with layer-by-layer assembly technology. A novel kind of composite multi-walled carbon nanotube/sol-gel imprinted electrochemical sensor for the determination of resveratrol was developed. The performance of the imprinted film was characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV), square wave voltammetry (SWV) and amperometric i-t curve. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was employed to observe the morphology of the imprinted film. Results suggested that the imprinted film exhibited high selectivity and affinity toward resveratrol. The linear range of the imprinted electrode was over the range from 5.0×10-7 to 8.0×10-5 mol•L-1, and the limit of detection was 5.1×10-8 mol•L-1. Finally, the imprinted sensor was employed to detect resveratrol in grape wine successfully.
