From the coating of seeds of Iris Pallasii Fisoh. var chinensis Fisch. a quinone derivative, C24H38O3, m. p. 45~47℃, was isolated. Its structure has been established as 6-methoay-2-⊿10'-cis-heptadecenyl-1, 4-benzoquinone, identical with irisquinone isolated from Iris Pseudacorus L.[12]
