Four alkaloids isolated from egtraots of C.fortwraei Book.f.wer) described.Alkaloid CF-9(Ⅰ) and alkaloid CF-3 (Ⅱ) were identified as 11-hydrogycephalotagine and Phelline alkaloid-7 or epiwilsonine respectively.The alkaloid CF-15 is a new alkaloid of Homoerythrina type and named cephalofortuneine.Its strnoture is deduced from its UV, IR, NMR and MS spectra to be IV.The structuxe of alkaloid CF-2 is still under investigation.
