The anodic oxidation of antimony in sulphuric acid, in hydrochloric acid, and in potassium hydroxide solutions has been studied by measuring the polarization curves and by using the A.C.bridge to determine the electrode capacity and ohmic resistance for the investigation of the change of surface conditions in the course of oxidation.
