Antimonyl gallein,as it is formed in acid solution, is an 1:1 (organic part to antimony) antimonyl compound. 1t has been prepared in crystalline form and analyzed. Spectrophotomelric measurements, on basis of either the method of continuous variations[18] or tlhe molar ratio method[19], indicate also 1:1 combination of the complex in solution. The result is in agreement with the experiments of Volmar and Gcettelmunn[4]. The structuual formula of the eomplex has been twoposed. and discussed.
