By means of Rast's method,two determinations of the molecular weight of the neutral principle from the Chinese drug, Chin-kuo-lan, the isolation of which has been reported by Cha and Chian[1] previously, give the value 379 and 365. Together with the data of elementary analysis, the molecular formula should be C21H24O6 (molecular weight calculated:372.2).
