Claisen-Schmidt condensation of cyclopentanone or cyclohexanone with aromatic aldehydes catalyzed by potassium fluoride supported on molecular sieve resulted in 2,5-bis(substituted benzylidene)cyclopentanones or 2,6-bis(substituted benzylidene)cyclohexanones with 56%～95% yields respectively under refluxing methanol for 80～480 min.
