  A novel electrochemically promoted transesterification reaction of glycine derivatives is reported by You, Huang, Zhuang, Liu and Jin on page 1360. This trans-esterification reaction could afford various corresponding glycine derivatives without adding any transition metal, acid or base in an undivided cell which demonstrated the potential practical value.
- About the Cover:
  
  Novel benzimidazole derivatives were designed and synthesized with CA-4 as lead compound. The target compound Ⅳ-02 showed significant performances in tubulin polymerization inhibition, cell cycle arrest at G2/M phase and induction of cell apoptosis. Meanwhile, it exhibited fluorescence emission effect. Therefore, Ⅳ-02 could serve as an anticancer compound with flu-orescent self-labeling properties, which was reported by Dong, Pu, Li, Zhang, Geng, Liang and Wang on page 1315.
