Recently,attention has been directed to the effect of chelation upon the physiological action of certain chemical compounds[1]. a number of investigators, especially Albert and his coworkers[5,6] have demonstrated the important role played by the chelation structure of 8-hydroxyquinoline in producing fungicidal action.
