The chromatographic behaviours of 32 anions on filter paper with isopropanol-water system have been studied. It has been found that the R_fc values of anions increase with increasing the ratio of water in the eluent system and nearly parallel to those obtained by Grassini et al.^[2] with the solvent mixture isopropanol-1.5 N ammonium hydroxide. The R_fc values of anions found and the possibility of their separations are listed in Tables 1 and 2. It is shown that a great number of anions can be separated with this eluent system.
