Four phytoecdysones have been isolated Ajuga nippnensis Makino.Three of them are β-ecdysone(1),ajugaaterone A (2),and stachysterone D(8).A new ecdysone named ajugasterone D (4) has been identified as β-hydroxy-staohysterone D by the LR, NMR and MS.
