Abstract

LnL.HL (Ln = Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy; H2L = I) were prepared and characterized by elemental anal., UV, IR, 1H NMR, fluorescence spectra and thermal anal. Their molar conductances in DMSO are 5.2-8.4 W-1 cm2 mol-1, indicating that these compounds are nonelectrolytes.
