Abstract

The title compound is monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a 13.680(5), b 13.664(5), c 22.587(7) ? and b 105.76(3); dc = 1.26 for Z = 8. The structure was refined to R = 0.049. The atomic parameters are given. The x-ray diffraction anal. of the compound has contributed to a better understanding of the effect of the phosphoryl group on the localizing nitrogen lone pair electron and the Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction.
