Fifteen new title compounds N(CH2CH2O)3GeCHR1CH2CO2SnR3 (R = Cy, Bu, Ph, R3 = Cy2Bu, CyBu2, R1 = H, Ph, p-CH3C6H4, p-ClC6H4) were synthesized and their structures identified by IR, 1H NMR, MS and elemental anal. The compounds may be five-coordinate when R = Bu, whereas the others are four-coordinate. From preliminary biol. tests these compounds have good acaricidal and herbicidal activities and display some fungicidal activity for plant diseases.
