Abstract

Two series of bis(trialkyltin)dicarboxylates have been synthesized and characterized by IR, ^1H NMR and MS. The compounds (except compounds 15 and 16) are fourcoordinate. Some regularities are observed in the MS. The results of bioassay have shown that the tricyclohexyltin derivatives have good acaricidal activity, and triphenyltin derivatives have good herbicidal activity. The biological activities of butene dicarboxylates and phthalyl carboxylates are better than that of fatty dicarboxylates.
