Nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO), the average nanoporous size of which is 40 nm, was obtained by two step electrochemical anodization aluminum process. Highly ordered nanometer porous organic inorganic composite was fabricated by filling in AAO film with fluorescent molecules. The results show that AAO membrane has strong combination ability with organic molecule. The combination ability comes from the cooperation of physical and chemical actions. The maximum peak positions of emission spectra of fluorescent molecules on AAO film have blue shift. Highly ordered nanometer porous array changed the formation of molecule aggregating and stacking, and polarization leading to a preferred molecular orientation along the pore axis. It could explain the mechanism of blue shift of molecular luminescence depending on its environment.
