(W), the consumed charge, and the ratio of counterion to monomer unit (x) is derived; polypyrrole electrochem. polymd. with either dodecyl sulfate, mandelate, perchlorate, or Cl- counterions is examined W is nearly independent of x when the counterion mol. wt. is close to 0.5 of the monomer mol. wt.
