Abstract

The simultaneous determination of metasilicic, disilicic and trisilicic acid in the heteropoly compound of silicic acid with molybdate was examined by microcomputer kinetics spectrophotometry based on different reaction rate of the metasilicic, disilicic and trisilicic acid with molybdate to form heteropoly compound. The proposed method can be applied to the simultaneous determination of metasilicic, disilicic and trisilicic acid in sugarcane with satisfactory results.
