Low-Cost and Efficient Purification of Iron Ion in Acrylonitrile and Dimethyl Sulfoxide

Four different kinds of acrylic macroporous weak base anion exchange resin, D315, D311, D301, and D335, were employed to absorb the iron ion in acrylonitrile and dimethyl sulfoxide in order to purify acrylonitrile and dimethyl sulfoxide. The optimal purification conditions were obtained by comparing the purification result under different temperature, feeding ratio and time. It was found that the best purification result was achieved by using D315 macroporous weak base acrylic anion exchange resin and this kind of resin can purify acrylonitrile and dimethyl sulfoxide with high efficiency and low cost at room temperature.
