The ohromatograghio behaviours of UO22 and various metallio ions have been investigated on paper impregnated with 8-hydroxyquinoline(HOx) or tributyl phosphate(TBP) reapeotively, and with a mixture of both extraotanta, eluted with NaOAo-HCl buffer solution at pH 1.15-4.36. A synergistio effect waa apparent in the behaviour of UO22+with TBP-HOx system, and the expected agreement with the corresponding solvent extraction data was obtained.
