Stannic phosphate thin layer(0.20 mm) plates have been applied to the chromatographic studies of 40 metations without using any binder. Ascending development technique is used with 0.1 to 1.0 M solutions of hydroohlorio, nitrio and citric acid and mixed solvent systems as eluants. As a result, some effioient binary separations, such as Hg²⁺-Pb²⁺, Cd²⁺-Pb2²⁺, Cd²⁺-Sb³⁺, Hg²⁺-Tl⁺, and Pb²⁺-Zn²⁺, have been achieved.
