Benzophenone has been found to be a suitable fixed phase for gas-liquid chromato-graphy of methylchlorosilanes.Good separation of methyltrichlorosilane, dimethyldichlorusi-lane, trimethylchlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride was obtained at 52℃.
