Two new crystalline alkaloids were isolated from the Chinex drug, Li-lu, Veratrum spp., collected from Mount Tien-Mu, Chekiang Province.They are provisionally named tienmulil mine and tienmulilminine respectivel.The formula for the former is C27H43ON, m.p.172°-174°, and [α]16D=-99.3°(in CH3OH, 6.44%).
