The effect of shear rate on the viscosity of polymethylmethacrylate in benzene was studied at 25℃ by means of an Ubbelohde dilution viscometer under external hydrostatic pressure. Four fractionated and one unfractionated samples having molecular weights ranging 4×105-5×106 were used for measurement.
