Abstract

The polymethacrylic and polyacrylamide inverse opal photonic crystals films (PMAM) have been prepared by using the sintered silica photonic templates, during which the photonic templates are infiltrated by the precursor solutions with the methacrylic and the acrylamide bi-functional monomer, and then polymerized under the UV light (365 nm) and in the end the polymerized films are immersed in HF solutions for the remove of templates. By the analysis of UV/Vis spectra, with the pH increasing, their UV/Vis spectrum peaks are red-shifted at pH=4.0~7.0. But they have no response to the ionic strength, so they can provide the potential matrix membrane for preparing the pH sensors, metal ions and small biomolecules imprinted photonic crystal sensors.
