Abstract

Phenyl isocyanate reacted with N-[2-(4, 6-dimethyl)-pyrimidyl]- hydroxyamine (5) to give 1-[2-(4, 6-dimethyl)-pyrimidyl]-1-hydroxy-3- phenyl urea (6), 6 reacted with ethyl chloroformate in the presence of Et3N to afford 2-[2-(4, 6-dimethyl)-pyrimidyl]-4-phenyl 1, 2, 4- oxadiazolidine-3, 5-dione (1).
