Isochroman-fused pyridons(4a-ub),isochroman-fused pyrimidines(7a-7b) isochroman-fused quinolines (8a-8b) and isochroman-fused naphthyridine (9) were synthesized from isochroman-4-one by condensation at 3-and 4- positions,The structures of all these compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, IR and~1H NMR spectra
