Five phenolic compounds, benzyl 2-neohesperidosyloxy-6-hydroxybenzoate (1), 5-O--D-(6′-O-galloyl)glucopyranosyl gentisic acid (2), 1-O-(5,7-dihydroxy-chromon-3-yl)--D-glucopyranoside (3), gallic acid (4) and catechin (5), were isolated from the leaves of Quercus dentata. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of the physical and chemical analysis and spectroscopic evidence.
