Abstract

Eight title compounds were synthesized by the multi-step reaction using β-dimethylamino- propiophenone hydrochloride as stating materials, followed by aldol condensation, cyclization with o-aminothiophenol, and [2＋2] cycloaddition reaction with chloroacetyl chloride. The structures of these compounds were characterized by 1H NMR, MS techniques and elemental analysis. Compound 4e was subjected to single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis to determine their structure.
