Synthesis and Cleavage Properties for DNA of A Novel Porphyrin- Anthraquinone Hybrid with Dipeptide Link and Its Metal Complex

A novel porphyrin-anthraquinone (Por-AQ) hybrid dipeptide link and its zinc complex have been synthesized on the microwave radiation, and their structures were characterized by UV-Vis, IR and 1H NMR spectra. Using the electrophoresis experiment, the binding properties of the hybrids to PET28a DNA have been investigated. The experimental results show that target compounds have cleavage properties for PET28a DNA.
