Abstract

The activity of chemical reaction and application of chlorophyll-a derivatives depend on their special physicochemical properties and asymmetrical skeleton structure bearing many active substituted groups. This review deals with the recent progress in the synthesis of polysubstituted chlorin or porphyrin based on the chemical reaction and structural modification of chlorophyll-a derivatives
