4-氧代-2-硫代-四氫化噻唑的芳香族醛類衍生物,和丙烯腈作用,在室温下同時在呈微鹼性的水溶液中,可以發生反應。依此我們製備了:5-苯亞甲基-3-(β-腈乙基)-4-氧代-2-硫代-四氫化噻唑,5-對甲氧基苯亞甲基-3-(β-腈乙基)-4-氧代-2-硫代-四氫化噻唑,5-呋喃亞甲基-3-(β-腈乙基)-4-氧代-2-硫代-四氫化噻唑以及5-對甲苯亞甲基-3-(β-腈乙基)-4-氧代-2-硫代-四氫化噻唑。

The condensation products of rhodanine and aromatic aldehydes react with acrylonitrile in the presence of slight amount of alkali in aqueous solution at room temperature.5-Benzylidene-, 5-anisal-, 5-furfurylidene-, and 5-p-methylbenzenlidene-3-(β-cyanoethyl)-rhodanine were prepared according to this method.
