球状弱酸性阳离子交换剂可由下列方法制成:(1)甲基丙烯酸甲酷与不同黄的55%苯二乙烯溶液共聚合.随用酸或碱水解之.(2)甲基丙烯酸与不同量的55%苯二乙烯溶液共聚合.(3)甲基丙烯酸, 甲基丙烯酸丙烯酯, 与55%苯二乙烯溶液共聚合.由第一法制得的树脂交换量不高, 很明显是因甲基丙烯酸甲酯-苯二乙烯的共聚体不易水解的缘故.由第二、第三法制得的树脂交换量很高且表面是不透明的.这可能为通称的“玉米花”聚合体.这些树脂具有良好的性能.

Weakly acidic cation exchangers in bead form have been prepared by the following methods:(1)copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with a variable amount of 55% solution of divinylbenzene, followed by hydrolysis either with an acid or a base;(2) copolymerization of methacrylic acid with a variable amount of 55% solution of divinylbenzene;(3)copolymerization of methacrylic acid with allyl methacrylate and a 55% solution of divinylbenzene.
