苯乙烯-苯二乙烯共聚体在三氯化铝存在下,与三氯化磷起反应,随以硝酸氧化之,制成交换量与直径(由0.15—0.75毫米)不同的膦酸阳离子交换树脂。交换量,膨胀度与水分,因苯二乙烯与树脂直径的递增而减少。从磷含量的实验值与交换量测定的结果,知道每苯环上约含0.76—0.85%原子的磷,且大部分成五价膦酸存在。电位滴定曲线证明这些树脂为二元酸。

Phosphoric cation exchange resins, of different diametem from 0.16 to 0.76 mm., with venous dogree of cross-licking, have been prepared by the copolymerization of styrenedivinylbenzeue, followed by the reaction with phosphorus trichloride in the presence of aluminum chloride, and finally by the oxidation with nitric acid. The capacity, swelling, and moisture content vary inversely with increase of the degree of croay-linking and with the particle size of the resin. From the results of phospliorus analyses and capacity determination, it is thown that each benzene ring contains approximately 0.76-0.86 atom of phos- photos which exists mainly as phosphoric acid. The potentiometric titration curve proves that the resins are dibasic acids.
