N-(β-巯基乙基)乙二胺-N,N',N'-三乙酸(Ⅳ)及N-(β-氨基乙基)乙二胺-N,N',N'-三乙酸(Ⅴ)业已合成。前者形成銻螯合物,后者不与亚銻酸作用。丙二胺四乙酸(Ⅱ,n=3)锑螯合物的稳定度较EDTA-Sb为弱,故在烷撑二胺四乙酸中,次甲基数(n)超过3时,锑螯合物难以形成,而由2增至3时,二氮原子与锑配位的能力则大为降低。一系列具较大分子的烷基硫醚取代的乙二胺三乙酸(Ⅵ)及其锑螯合物亦已制备。在此类锑螯合物中,硫原子不参与螯合。

The relative tendency for the formation of the chelates between antimonous acid and the homologue of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (Ⅱ) has been investigated from a study of their reduction at the dropping mercury electrode.It was found that for n=2 the chelate (Ⅱ-Sb) should have maximum stability; for n=3 the chelate formed is less stable,while for n>3 no antimonial chelate was formed.
