从民间抗结核草药紫金牛全草中分得两个新的间苯二酚烯基衍生物,紫金牛酚Ⅰ(1)和紫金牛酚Ⅱ(2)。体外抑制结核菌试验表明,它们为该植物抑制结核杆菌生长的有效成分,经光谱分析与化学降解方法证明,1为2-甲基-5-[8'(顺)-十三烯基]-间苯二酚,2为5-[8'(顺)-十三烯基]-间苯二酚。

The Chinese medicinal herb,Ardisia japonica (Thunb.) Blume (Myrsinaceae),has been used for treatment of tuberculosis and asthma in folk medicine,Two new amorphous resorcinol derivatives,named ardisinol Ⅰ(1) and ardisinol Ⅱ(2),have been isolated from tho active fraction of its alcoholic extract and both are active in the antitubercular tests in vitro.Ardisinol I has a formula of C20H32O2,m.p.36-37℃.
