根据酸变机理及若干实验结果推定的山道年、变质山道年以及其他一类物的相对构型[1],已由消除各个变质山道年C5C6两个旋光中枢而得进一步证明推论无讹[2]。

The silver salt of desmotroposantonous acid (Ⅲ) when reacting with bromine in molar ratio forms principally the nuclear brominated compound (Ⅵ). The phenolic hydroxyl group of desmotroposantonin and desmotroposantonous acid as well as their brominated products may or may not be etherified with diazomethane as depending upon the kind of the group existing in the molecule.
