The synthesis of fluorinated gastrodin

Abstract

The synthesis of several fluorinated derivatives of gastrodin (I) was described. These compounds are 2-fluoro-4-hydroxymethylphenyl-b-D-glucopyranoside, 2-trifluoromethyl-4-hydroxymethylphenyl-b-D-glucopyranoside, 2,3,5,6-tetrafluoro-4-hydroxymethylphenyl-b-D-glucopyranoside and their pentaacetyl derivatives
